What five-sided inference does
Matched on what the molecule does
A kinase inhibitor and a PROTAC against the same target sit in different classification buckets and almost never surface in the same result set. We resolve on target, mechanism and structure, so both appear against the same gap.
Every inference shows its working
Each match states which axes it scored on and which came back neutral. Where structural similarity and target alignment are both neutral, the confidence is capped rather than dressed up. You see the reasoning before you act on the ranking.
The shortlist comes before the disclosure
Five to eight named counterparties, ranked by fit, inferred across pharma, platforms and capital at once. Broad outreach costs an asset its reputation, and every non-reply narrows what is left. The ranking happens first.
What we deliver
Six reports. Each one draws on more than one index at once.
Gap Closure Report
Every expiry gap gets one verdict: in-license, commission, or acquire.
You know your 2029 exposure. You do not know whether anything exists to fill it. We map each gap against 2.9M indexed assets and 240+ discovery platforms, and where nothing suitable exists we name who could build it.
Second trigger: the week a competitor licenses in your class. The same analysis runs on what is still available, and on who else is carrying the same gap.
The in-license verdict needs the asset index. The commission verdict needs the platform index. One index answers half the question.

Inbound Triage
Send us the queue you cannot process.
Every asset scored against your own gap map and ranked, with a stated reason for each position and a flag on anything worth a second look. The same thresholds across the whole batch. Asked six months later why asset 47 was declined, you have an answer that survives.
Ranking against revealed strategy needs the pharma index. Explaining each ranking, so a reviewer can act on it, needs the other four.

China Deal-Readiness Radar
Which Chinese assets are actually workable this year.
Covering China is now a mandate and almost nobody has a repeatable method. Built from patent chemistry, Chinese regulatory filings and exchange disclosures, selectable by target, mechanism, molecule type, stage and indication. Every row states whether the rights position is documented or inferred, because many are carved up by territory before they appear in English.
Finding a Chinese asset needs one index. Saying whether it is workable, and what it would take, needs all five at once.

Asset Placement Sprint
A partner shortlist you can act on this week.
Five to eight named counterparties across pharma, discovery platforms and capital, ranked by fit, with a route into each and a teaser in the format the recipient expects. Fit computed against revealed strategy rather than guessed from a press release.
A shortlist spanning pharma, platforms and capital is three indexes resolved into one ranking. A deal database gives you one of them.

Partnership Landscape
Who will partner with your portfolio company, and when.
Pharma carrying a matching gap, platforms that would de-risk the asset, and comparable deals with the structures they were done on. Board-ready. Timing against a competitor's expiry window matters as much as the target list.
Partners, de-riskers and co-funders sit in three different indexes. The report is the join between them, which cannot be bought off the shelf.

Index Snapshot License
Our patent cliff data, inside your own systems.
Your associates rebuild the same expiry map on every mandate. Four days each time, assembled by hand, inconsistent between whoever happens to do it. This is the same database as a structured file: 50+ pharma companies and growing weekly, product through to expiry by territory and franchise exposure. CSV and Parquet. Nothing to log into.
Deliberately one side only. The value of the other four is in the join, and the join is not for sale.

Five indexes. One inference.
Everyone in this category holds one side well. Pipeline databases hold assets. Deal databases hold transactions. Cohort catalogs hold human evidence. Each is accurate, and each answers a question you did not ask.
A row from us states four things. The asset, named and staged. Why it fits, computed against your expiry exposure and what you already hold. What is missing, meaning the specific evidence gap and who could supply it. And who else carries the same gap, which is the line that tells you how long you have.
Four subscriptions and a week of an associate's time will produce three of those four, with no way to check that they agree. Five-sided by construction, not by claim. The vendors that hold one side well are holding one side.
